What is Facials?

Medical-grade facials are professional skincare treatments performed by licensed aestheticians using clinical-strength formulations and advanced techniques. Unlike over-the-counter products or basic spa facials, medical-grade treatments use active ingredients at concentrations that produce real, lasting changes in the skin. Our facial menu includes a range of treatments designed to address specific concerns: deep cleansing and extractions for congested or acne-prone skin, intensive hydration for dry or dehydrated skin, brightening and pigmentation correction for uneven tone, anti-aging treatments targeting fine lines and loss of firmness, and calming treatments for sensitive or reactive skin. Every facial begins with a thorough skin analysis to ensure the treatment is perfectly matched to your skin's current needs.

How Does It Work?

Your facial begins with a double cleanse to remove makeup, sunscreen, and surface impurities. Your aesthetician then performs a detailed skin analysis under magnification to assess your skin type, concerns, and condition. Based on this assessment, a customized treatment protocol is selected. This may include steam to open pores, gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, extractions to clear congested pores, targeted serums and masks, high-frequency or LED light therapy, lymphatic drainage massage, and a finishing moisturizer and SPF. The combination of techniques and products is tailored specifically to your skin on that day — because your skin's needs change with the seasons, your stress levels, hormonal fluctuations, and lifestyle. Each facial takes 60 to 90 minutes.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

Facials are suitable for virtually all adults regardless of skin type or concern. Whether you have oily, acne-prone skin, dry or dehydrated skin, sensitive or reactive skin, mature skin with fine lines and loss of firmness, or hyperpigmented skin with uneven tone — there is a facial protocol designed for you. Regular facials are particularly beneficial for clients who want to maintain healthy, glowing skin between more intensive treatments like chemical peels or microneedling. Monthly facials are recommended for optimal results, as the skin's natural renewal cycle is approximately 28 days.

What to Expect

Your appointment begins with a consultation and skin analysis. Your aesthetician will ask about your skincare routine, any concerns, recent treatments, and lifestyle factors that may affect your skin. The treatment itself is deeply relaxing — most clients find it a welcome respite from their day. You may feel gentle warmth from steam, a mild tingling from active serums, or slight pressure during extractions. After the facial, your skin will look and feel noticeably cleaner, brighter, and more hydrated. Some clients experience mild redness after extractions or more active treatments, which typically resolves within a few hours. You will leave with personalized skincare recommendations to maintain and extend your results at home.

Recovery & Downtime

Most facials have no downtime. You can return to normal activities immediately after your appointment. If your facial included extractions or a more active treatment, you may notice mild redness or sensitivity for a few hours. Avoid applying heavy makeup immediately after your facial to allow the skin to breathe and absorb the treatment products. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF 30 or higher. Avoid exfoliating products (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for 24 to 48 hours after your facial to prevent irritation.
